InstructionsHow to maintain the contra angle of C-SAILOR
Pre-Cleaning1.Remove the bur, scrub the surface of the handpiece with a piece of cloth with 60%-90% concentration of ethanol or disinfectant.
2.Dip the head into the water in depth of about 20mm, and activate the contra angle clockwise at speed of 300RPM for more than 15 seconds.3.Then make the head ratate anticlockwise at the speed of 300RPM for more than 15 seconds
Note: 1.At the suturing stage of implanting surgery, please let the nurse remove the implanting handpiece and do the pre-cleaning in case that the blood outside and inside of the handpiece clot. 2. The water source requirement: 1) Water temperature: 20℃-38℃ ; 2) Drinkable water.Manual cleaning
1.Pull out the contra angle from the handle of the motor in order to clean.
2.Brush and clean the surface of the handpiece with a brush in the flowing water for 2-3 minutes.3.Clean the inner hole of the cartridge with ø0.7mm interdental brush in the flowing water.Note: 1.The water source requirement: 1) Water temperature: 20℃-38℃ ; 2) Drinkable water;
3) Water yield: more than 3.5 litters per minute.
Oil Cleaning & lubrication(1)Oil cleaning and lubrication of detachable contra angle1.Grip the tail case and twirl the head anticlockwise then detach it
2.Demount the shaft and handle respectively and put them in clean container.3.Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the head (with needle) and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.
4. Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the head (with shaft) and inject the lubricant for at least 3s until the lubricant discharged is clean.5.Aim the nozzle tip at the bearing of the shaft and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.
6. Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the contra part and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.7. Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the handle and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.
2)Oil cleaning and lubrication of undetachable contra angle.1. Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the head (with needle) and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.2. Put the nozzle tip into the inner hole of the handle and inject the lubricant for at least 3 seconds until the lubricant discharged is clean.
High Temperature Sterilization1. Put the handpiece into the special sterilization bag, seal and put the bag on the sterilization tray.
2. Requirement of high temperature and high pressure sterilization: 134℃, no less than 5 minutes.
Examination Before Use1.Swirl the head cap to confirm whether it is loose or not.
2.Confirm whether the bur and withdrawer are abnormal, whether the needle is firmly fixed.3. Confirm whether the water yield is abundant.
4.Activate the handpiece at the highest speed allowed for 1 minute.5.Shut down the handpiece and examine whether the head is overheated.
